A trip to Bonnechere Provincial Park makes for a lovely excursion any time of the year. However it’s extra special when we transform the campground and Davenport Centre into a Hallmark Christmas set to ring in the holiday season!

On Saturday, December 2, 2023, Park staff and volunteers hosted our first annual Jingle & Mingle Holiday Market at Bonnechere with great success.

This free day-long market featured local hand-crafters and artisans, alongside bakers and food producers, offering a unique selection of local products and prepared foods. 

Visitors had the opportunity to meet and personally drop off letters to Santa, take a horse-drawn wagon ride through the picturesque campground, participate in a scavenger hunt, enter free raffles and enjoy Christmas shopping at the Park Store.

The holiday festivities were topped off with live Christmas music, a canteen lunch, complimentary cotton candy and hot beverages around the bonfire.
