Lafleur House - Buttons

This remarkable little collection of buttons contains metal, bone, shell, glass, and composition examples, representing a variety of men's and women's attire. The metal buttons are mostly typical of overalls or work clothing; the bone and shell buttons, finer shirts and dresses. The glass buttons were sold on cards or came on ready-made clothing.
