Lafleur Outbuildings - Metals
This curious little collection of metal fragments is comprised of minor fittings of larger items. The large bent bar has obvious provision so that it could be screwed onto a wagon or piece of equipment, the castings are bits of cleats and hardware associated with machinery. The wire was a universal fix.

A cast iron fastener used to affix a spring-tooth to a harrow framework. The two holes are for bolts. A harrow is used to break up clods of earth to prepare a field for seeding and to cover the seed once sown.
