1967: Old Growth on Its Way

Bonnechere Provincial Park is established in 1967, Canada's centennial year. The Park's young and middle-aged forests will be the protected ancient forests of tomorrow. With a little luck, and the love of people, the pines of the Park may once again grow to resemble the giants of the past.
