Basin Depot 2000 - Leather
his cluster of artifacts consists of a small plated hinged coin purse of good quality leather with a finer grade lining as well as a man's work boot in a similarly deteriorated condition.
The collection of eyelet strips is curious. It is difficult to determine if they were deliberately removed and hoarded in recognition of some perceived value or are the product of differential preservation. There were a number of other curious clusters of items encountered during excavations.
