1500: A Fan of Wetlands

Tributaries of the river have slowly made their mark along the shoreline. Each forms a small fan-like sandy delta where it empties into the Little Bonnechere River. This slow process has helped to create many small wetlands, mainly marshes and swamps, that now occupy most of these mini-deltas.
